Details
“Listen,” says Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche in this charming video, “the most important thing in your life is to play. It is!” He swirls a hand around the temple room he’s in, indicating all of the surroundings: “This whole thing we have here is all for play. So play! To have fun is so important.”
“Next important,” Rinpoche continues, “is to be kind.” Then the kids visiting with him help Rinpoche enumerate the various ways we can be kind: “Sharing.” “Loving.” “Caring.” “Respecting other people.”
It is, of course, advice for us all. As Rinpoche says, “Don’t lose this state of mind!”
