Details
Shugen Roshi, Abbot of the Zen Mountain Monastery in Mt. Tremper, NY kindly accepted an invitation to address the parents at the Middle Way School on the first day of school in 2019. He spoke about Buddhism and some of the qualities of Buddhism that lend themselves to enhancing schools and the lives of children. He also talked about how Buddhism can be beneficial to a diverse group of people who may or may not even be interested in the dharma, such as parents who send their children to a Buddhist School who aren’t Buddhists themselves. This is a clear, direct, 45-minute talk with some questions at the end. We hope you enjoy. It was a wonderful way to start off the school year.
