Our Teen Programs have been using the museum’s collection to explore ideas of mindfulness and protection. To connect these themes of safe and protective objects to their personal narratives, teens created their own portable safe spaces using cigar boxes. Learn how to make your own box shrine using recycled and other meaningful objects.
