How do you create opportunities for socializing as a homeschooler? Do you have a local community you reach out to, either of other Buddhist children or other homeschoolers? Do you have recommendations for the best way to get your kids interacting with others and having a rich social life?

In Austin, a group called Yawp (https://austinyawp.com) enables homeschoolers (and anyone else, really) to come together. This particular group isn’t Buddhist-focussed, per se. Nonetheless, we’ve enjoyed spending time with the kids and parents that are part of this kind community.
